I don't know if this is the right place to post this,
but I didn't know where else!
I use the newsgroups (via 'trn').
Some of the newsgroups need authorization to post.
So I email them and ask for authorization.
They give me authorization for the username "rushlyn@mit.edu".
However, when I try to post something via the newsgroup,
for some reason, it reads me as "rushlyn@athena.mit.edu".
I suspect this is a remnant from days gone by when "athena" was
necessary.
Problem is, their authorization is NOT for @athena.mit.edu, but only
for @mit.edu, and I can't post.
Is it possible for this to be fixed?
Could I receive confirmation of this email and whether or not this
would ever be fixed?
