Type and version:	SPARC/Classic 7.6O (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type: cgthree

What were you trying to do?
open a talk connection between a Sun and a DECStation or VAXStation.

What's wrong:
	from Sun to DECstation
The Sun starts talk gets a "Your party is refusing
messages" error and quits. Note that the user on
the DEC wasn't refusing messages and I could open
		a connection between a 2 DECstations.
	From DECStation to Sun
DEC gets "Checking for invitation on caller's machine"
		and waits.
using otalk I get notification on the sun but an attempt
to reply yields the error: "Unable to connect with initiator :
Address family not supported by protocol family (124)"
	from VAX to Sun
		Same as DEC except s/otalk/talk.old/p
	from Sun to VAX
get notification on the VAX, but when I try to respond
I get an error an talk.old exits. THe error disappeared
before I could read it but I think it was similar to
the error returned when I tried talk.old, without trying
to initiate the conversation from the sum. What should
		have happened:
