There are a few minor VAX kernel fixes (none of which really affect
normal users) in the paris /u1 kernel sources; I'd like these to eventually
get merged into the standard sources.
1) tmscp driver fixed so that in some cases (not sure why not all
cases...) when a tape is not mounted the process gets an error rather
than hanging.
2) qd driver fixed so that its logging messages have a normal newline
convention (at the end of a message, not at the beginning)

This is NOT high priority, deal with this as time permits.
