What's wrong:
I know quite well that the "can't parse reply from admin server"
problem related to internet addresses has been fixed, but there is
another bug hidden there that comes out that has probably not been
fixed: the error message. The error message should not say
admin_util: Can't parse reply from admin_server
but rather something like
admin_util: Can't parse reply from admin_server; password unchanged
My roommate, who is actually rather intelligent, was quite concerned
when he got the first error message upon changing his password; he
said he was afraid to log out for fear of not being able to get back
in again. I don't blame him
What should happen:
We should be much more careful (as has been mentioned before in other
contexts) about making sure that our error messages are not
intimidating.
