This may have been spawned by something I said about the
Makefile.athena and configure.athena scripts in the aui locker
referring to /mit/aui paths.
In retrospect, I don't think this is a terrible thing. The Athena
tree already has Makefile.athena scripts which directly refer to
/usr/athena paths, and this is okay. When stuff is moved from the aui
locker to the athena source tree, it should be easy to fix those build
scripts. And there isn't a great alternative; we don't have a central
repository of path definitions except in config.site, which is not
really designed for use by shell scripts other than configure.
