I'm going to set up a kdetest locker in the dev cell for
experimentation with KDE version 2. There are a few reasons for this:
* We've run into a lot of dirt looking under the covers of
gnome. I want to see how much similar dirt there is with
KDE. Although there isn't much chance that Athena will do
anything significant with KDE, I think this is good as a
"due diligence" effort.
* I want to see how much trouble it would be to set up a kde
locker which people could compile KDE applications (all
twelve of them) against.
* My own personal edification.
* I'm not too hosed right now.
Anyway, I thought I would give people a heads-up.
