I wasn't sure what would happen for machines on MITnet, but not
configured via dhcp (or are we expecting them to all be configured via
dhcp? or are we punting this problem to the underlying OS install and
ignoring it?)  Anyhow, I can always fix it myself and don't know how
may other people would care anyway.
