I think that's fine. I think if the fuzzball does get replaced with
the IS&T logo, it should be for a clearly defined set of machines (ie:
supported release vs unsupported releases, debathena-workstation vs
debathena-{standard,login}, etc), as it's an easy thing to ask clients
over the phone "Did the login screen have the IS&T logo on it?".
Yes, the hostname is also on the login screen, but having clients read
and parse text is harder.
