[xvm-announce] VM booting temporarily disabled

We're still working on this issue. The procedure hasn't run as
smoothly as we hoped, so we're going to disable some operations on the
cluster in order to run the procedure with fewer moving parts.
Specifically, the following will be temporarily disabled, from
tomorrow evening after 7 PM until the procedure is finished:
- creating new VMs (already disabled)
- booting up VMs
- renaming, resizing, and deleting VMs
VMs already running should keep running without disruption.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. If you need to boot
up a VM during this period, ask us at xvm@ and we can probably do it
by hand.
As always, feel free to ask any questions at xvm@mit.edu. We'll send
another announcement when the procedure is complete and all services
are restored. With any luck that'll happen while you're enjoying your
spring break.
