In my munging of abs-overview to talk about crippled mode, it dawned on
me that sometimes crippled mode involves locating a volume on a tape
that has a particular range of dump dates.

I am a little frightened to raise the issue of further modifications to
the requirements doc, but it DOES seem reasonable to say that the report
used to aid crippled mode restores will also list the volume's dump date.

Does this seem reasonable to others?

I wonder if the file format for Crippled Mode dump status and the file
format for the report of what is in what tape would benefit from being
the same.
