Thanks to everyone for coming by the lab this afternoon. Ok, maybe it was
just me, but, it was fun to see Rob, Peter L, Lynne, Esther, Tom,
Brett (towards the end) and Terry working on testing, release 1.0b7 or the
training document.

There is good and bad news on the Macintosh front. The Mac client looks like
a real Mac client (grow boxes, scroll bars, updateable child windows, etc.).
The bad news involves a bug report submitted to Scopus regarding text
entered on the Mac losing new lines when displayed on Unix or Windows.
Waiting for a reply from Scopus on resolution.

Release 1.0b7 has the following major changes
- The login time has been reduced by about 50%,
- The record locking has been resolved,
- Screen ergonomics has been refined
- Macintosh client - one bug fixed, one bug reported

Some other 1.0b7 changes include
- Removed My Locks Button (added in 1.0b6)
- Fixed a problem with History Search
- Tested Print button on Macintosh
- Disabled Clipboard button on Macintosh
- Added MOTD to Help Desk pull down menu for display on demand

In addition, Esther and Rob have made good progress on the training document.

With all the hard work, the system is looking good.

..Steve
