No, not in my opinion. We use ARIS for modelling, but if you look at
other tools like SDW (Cap Gemini) they are much easier in use, are
cheaper, better performance and more features and you an buy modules for
all kind of techniques.

SAP is like MS-Word. You can't really change the WINWORD.EXE file, but
can set some preferences. It that case you have to model your processes
to a certain extend with SAP in your mind. In my opinion its the best
way to model your processes during the implementation for the fact
processes are changing, but that won't speed up your implementation. It
makes it more accurate.
