The Performance and Instrumentation Working group of the DCE SIG
will meet on November 1 from 1 - 3:30pm. Currently there are two presentations
planned as follows:
1. A detailed presentation of OSF RFC 33 on standardized performance
instrumentation for monitoring DCE based applications by Rich Friedrich of
HP and Dave Bachmann of IBM. This work been reported on briefly at previous
SIG meetings but this will be the first in-depth discussion of this effort.
2. A report on the results of an extensive performance analysis of the
DCE login process done by Russ Heinselman of Digital and Art Gaylord of Project
Pilgrim.
If anyone has additional topics which he or she would like to present
please let me know as quickly as possible.
