Overall, things look very nice... one meta-comment: I've been feeling more
and more lately that some of the "free UNIXes" (in particular Linux and to
some extent NetBSD) deserve some mention and level of support as more and
more users are turning to these operating systems, again particularly Linux.
I realize that these are not "officially recognized" products and that a
number of IS Teams would have a stake in what is said about them, in
particular the Desktop Products Team. If we are not yet ready to deal
with these "officially", perhaps we could point to SIPB pages/mailing
lists for support with these (with their agreement of course). SIPB has
been very active in supporting these as adjuncts to Athena, and have done
serious development work that has been recognized worldwide (as in the AFS
client ports they did for both Linux and NetBSD).
Anyway, it's just a thought.
