Decisions from today's IS-Home Page meeting (not in order of importance):
1) Suzana will send the announcement message to infosys on Weds, 4/1
2) If Robyn has a visited link color change (or any other color change),
please let us know within the next day and a half, otherwise we'll go with
existing colors
3) Oliver and Kevin will finalize the comments.html and questions.html
files (way to triage feedback). The footers on each page should be updated
to reflect their changes.
4) Maintenance plan:
We'll use RCS to maintain a record of revisions. We'll have a hybrid
system to accomodate team members that don't use Athena:
Claiming a file
- Anyone working on a file sends mail to is-home claiming the file(s). If
possible, put the file names in the subject line.
- Those of us that use RCS, check the file out. Those that don't, save
the file on your desktop and work on it.
Releasing a file
- RCS users check the file back in, AND send mail to is-home
- If you don't use RCS, ftp the file to a special directory on Athena:
/afs/athena/org/i/is/submit
and send mail to is-home asking for someone to check it into RCS. With
four or more of us that use RCS, this should be done without delay.
5) We'll continue to meet on Fridays to share status of what we're doing,
discuss the more difficult questions, and to plan rolling out support to
the other teams in IS.
