Next month's ELIBDEV meeting be on Friday, April 7, from noon-1, in
E40-496...NOTE THE CHANGE IN LOCATION, this is on the FOURTH FLOOR of E40.
The topic of this meeting will be Fair Use in the Electronic Age. The
recent flurry of news from various sectors, most recently the ALA
statement, makes this a timely topic. We have two special guests joining
us to share their valuable expertise and perspective on this important
subject:
Connie Mitchell, Information Systems, Asst Intellectual Property Counsel
Janet Fisher, MIT Press, Assoc Director For Journals
Tom Owens (your co-host for these meetings) will also share what he learned
on this topic from a recent conference on Electonic Reserves.
The meeting will be an open discussion,q&a format. Brown bagging is
permitted, and encouraged.
