elibdev meeting October 1, noon - 1 pm+, E40-352
We hope to have roundtable reports on the progress of various projects
currently underway. Reports we would like to have are: Tulip, Library 2000,
Library Gopher, MIT Gopher, Willow, FirstSearch, Medline, Z39.50, Geac 8000
replacement, and anything else related to electronic libraries. If you are
working on such a project and would like to share your progress with elibdev,
please come. The reports should not be lengthy -- just enough for us to know
what the project is, what you hope to accomplish, and current status.
If time permits, we will continue to discuss the problems of the Library
workstation: how should printing be handled , should there be a common
configuration, what services should be pre-login, what services should be
kerberized, etc.
