In fact, it was complaining about Eudora Folder #3, the one in your Boot
Drive's System Folder.

Here's what's going on:

* The Eudora 3 Installer attempts to put a Eudora Folder containing a new
Eudora Settings file in your *Active* System Folder, even if you are
installing the Eudora application to a volume different from the boot
volume.

* It turns out that Alicia had an alias to her "Eudora Folder" in her
Active System Folder. The installer considers an alias to be a file. So
when it found an alias in the Active System Folder with the same name as a
folder it was trying to put there, it put up a warning message because
normally a folder shouldn't replace a file.

* However, due to a bug in VISE (the program used to create the installer),
the Eudora 3 Installer incorrectly reports which volume the problem is on
(it gives the name of the destination volume, not the volume with the
Active System Folder), which leads you to believe it's trying to replace a
file/folder on a volume that it's really not.

Here's the action we'll take:

* For the final release of the Eudora 3 Installer, we're going to add code
to look and see if there's an alias file called "Eudora Folder" in the
active system folder, and if there is, don't try to replace it, because
it's a reasonable thing to have in a setup,.

* We're going to report the bug in dialog wording to Mindvision, who make VISE.
