My Athena workstation (Vax3100) was set up back in October by Network Services.
It is currently plugged into the wall and not the surge protector. I did not
notice this until recently. Should it be plugged into the surge protector
instead? Should I shut off the workstation and plug it into the surge
protector. I am concerned about the effect of shutting off the machine after
having it on for 8 months.
