Hello again,
I sent hotline a note yesterday or the day before about the Athena
machine , hum-ilb, IP address (I believe) 18-51-0-28. Brian Meuse who
works in the ILB office and uses the Athena machine a lot to
communicate with library patrons, handed me a message he received
today from a patron. The message was sent in response to a message
that Brian sent out on the 8th of November and which the patron had
just received. What can be causing the long delay and (in many cases
we suspect) the outright loss of mail? It is quite important that the
mail that this office sends out be reliably handled.

Please let me know what the prognosis is for this problem.

Thank you.
