I hear you have been assigned the task of figuring out our
needs for this project. Essentiallly we have a decstation 5000/240
that needs to be loaded with the Athena OS. A network number on
our side has been assigned 18.85.1.109. We have a net drop ready for it.
We would like the name to be in the MIT.EDU namespace fishwrap.mit.edu
Additionally we will want to provide AFS access to a cell we control.
This can be done a bit more leisurely.
Our voice mail system is down. We would like to fasttrack this.
The project is to provide a personal news system for the freshman
class during the Fall and IAP. We will need to be on-line by October
or the information we need to collect will not arrive on time for
the IAP organizers.
