This Month's Accomplishments
- Customized calendar views - created documentation to guide users through
the process of creating their own customized calendar views.
- Planned the steps needed to turn the customized events views feature into
a supported service available to the MIT community.
- Worked with WCS to test out the customization user guide.
- Worked with WCS to produce new graphical menu items for text-only
home page and changes requested by Info Office.
- Met with Information Office staff to discuss enhancement requests. Created
roughly prioritized list of enhancements.
Next Month's Plans
- Create project plan for the next round of enhancements.
- Release the customized events service to the MIT community.
- Work with the ATIC Lab staff to complete the text-only home page.
Issues
- Partnerships between the events team, the WCS group and the Information
Office have
matured into excellent working relationships. Communication is good and
customers are
happy. In particular, great interest has been generated in the community
by the
upcoming "customized events" service.
