Accomplishments in Sept

- 5 existing process review teams are on target to complete there
recommendations in October. Team lead meeting to promote integration amongst
the teams took place.
- Kicked off Pension Payroll exploration. This effort is associated with
implementing payroll in 2 stages, 1st for retirees and 2nd for employees. The
exploration activity is intended to detail a future system design, identify
and
address key issues of an implementation and provide an outline of an
implementation timeline.
- Conducted User Acceptance testing and completed final Volume testing of
Web-based Open Enrollment transactions.
Goals for Oct
-------------------------
- Start of process review teams for Leaves of Absence, Educational Assistance
and Terminations.
- Completely prepared for Open Enrollment starting on Nov 1. This includes
successful completion of customer testing cyle with IVR vendor and final
prepartions required for providing ITS transactions to benefits eligible
persons.
- Complete Usability testing of web-based self-service transactions. This is
round 2 of usability testing. Round 1 resulted in significant navigation
changes.
Issues
- Challenge of transitioning from design mode to implementation.
