Issues:

* The Enterprise Backup System lost it's leader and a critical team
member: Grant Young
* The E40 backups have not been consistently successful due to the
instability of the Netbackup software and the shortage of Netbackup-
trained ASST resources.
Accomplishments Past Period:
----------------------------
* Sebastien Sabre took over the project lead after Grant Young's departure
* Continued maintenance and operation of the E40 systems.
* Created report scripts for the SAP Backups.
Goals for the Coming Period:
----------------------------
* Rebuild the team by adding at least one member.
* Stabilize the E40 backups and build Key stakeholders confidence in the
NetBackup product.
* Finish the SAN reconfiguration in W91 to support Netbackup. In particular
move the tape drives on the Tape Library onto the SAN
* Install the NetBackup software and activate the W91 Master Server.
* Roll out online backups fully on at least one host in E40.
* Publish the E40 backup reports on the web.
* Update the Team's web pages.
Key Learnings:
--------------
* The stability of the E40 backups is a prerequisite to both the W91
Netbackup deployment and the online backups roll out.
