Accomplishments in July
-----------------------------------------
- Go-live accomplished for Benefits module on July 20. Included conversion of
17,000 employee and retiree records, their dependents, mailing addresses and
enrollment choices.
- Support plan approved. Includes numerous on-site, hands-on visits by
development staff at 2 benefit offices.
- Hunter Group presented a readiness report to executive and project sponsors.
This was an independent, 3rd-party view into the project to assess plans,
strategies and capabilities to achieve success.
- Five business process teams in-progress. All leads of each team met to share
info, clarify overlaps and insure integration when needed.
Goals for Aug
-------------------------
- Reach stabilization for Benefits go-live. Includes performing electronic
feeds to carriers and use of Data Warehouse.
- Perform 1st compare of designed processes of unique Lincoln Lab and campus
teams. The focus will be the New Hire process.
Issues
- Lincoln Lab Instance tiger team outputs will have impact on project
approach,
schedule and resources. Team continues to explore and research best
alternatives.
- Weekly electronic carrier feeds (Delta Dental and BCBS) not sent. Backup
paper process was used, and will continue until testing and verification is
closed.
