- Bob, Nate, and I have agreed on the eventual transition of Jana and
Kelly to E19
- Began discussion about VPNs with Jeff Schiller
- Chose two team EC3 modules:
Probing, questioning, assessing, determining real need
How to say "No" to a customer

- Rocklyn moved from N42-240N to N42-250L early in July.
- Rocklyn needed more time than expected to switch from reading email
on VM to Eudora
- Rocklyn had to devote time to several other projects:

- Understand two major SAPweb / ECAT bugs: "10 items" & "blank screen"
SAPweb Accomplishments for July 2001:

- Developed firm estimates for Facilities and MES SAPweb mods
- Completed test version of Facilities clone mod
- Began discussion about automated SAP system status updates to SAPweb
- Corrected bug which may be a contributor to the "10 items" problem

Telecom Goals for July 2001:

- Install new VDIN rates into production and create report with old and
new rates for verification.
- Finish cleaning of IP addresses information.
- Update v-mail information related to new type of rates before July
billing.
- Develop and test with CAO new feed into SAP.
- Install new SAP feed into production.
- Install modified (names for calling card holders) Data Warehouse feed
into production.
- Participate in a new effort leaded by Alicia Allen: IP address billing
inconsistency between Moira and ICE-9.
- Continue work in 5ESS Switch replacement team.
Telecom Accomplishments for July 2001:

- Fixed 6 service orders.
- Produced 25 ad-hoc reports.
- Made 3 new client installations.
- Installed new VDIN rates into production and created comparison
report with old and
new rates for verification.
- Finished cleaning of IP addresses information requested by Dennis
Baron and Robin
Blanco.
- Updated v-mail information related to new type of rates.
- Developed new feed into SAP, tested it twice with CAO and installed
into production.
End-of July production run was finished on time.
- Incorporated into new SAP feed last minute specification changes
related to revenue GL
accounts and cost centers.
- Added calling card holder names into Data Warehouse feed.
- Worked with Data Warehouse on adding pager information into Data
Warehouse feed and
installed it into production.
- Produced information for frame verification by Lucent.
- Analyzed possibility of massive updates of cable and wire
information in ICE-9 after
frame verification by Lucent. It has to be done through service orders.
- Had initial meeting with IP address billing inconsistency between
Moira and ICE-9
team.
- Had meeting with Garry Zacheiss from above team discussing details
of what has to be
done in order to feed information from Moira to ICE-9.
Telecom Goals for August 2001:

Because Kelly's and Jana's vacation only necessary production support
is planned for August.
