Accomplishments for the past period:
- Task list created and prioritized. The list was
based on feedback on the calendar from various sources -
email, usability testing and our own observations.
- Project notebook updated to reflect the new "phase 2" work.
Draft project plan and data model diagrams posted.
- High-level project plan created. The plan calls for
completion of the first major enhancement in November 2000
and the completion of all phase 2 work by the end of January 2001.
- Conceptual & physical data modelling sessions completed. The
goal was to re-evaluate the data model and to identify changes
needed to support the planned enhancements.
- Interface design sessions completed for the parts of the
calendar that deal with posting, editing and deleting events.
The goal is to simplify the entry of events and this task
is in response to user feedback. Users and stakeholders
have been involved in this process and the revised design
exists in the form of static HTML documents.
- Usability team invited to evaluate the revised interface
  design.

Goals for the coming period:
- Receive feedback from usability team and possibly revise
  design accordingly.
- Complete coding for the add/edit/delete event modifications.
- Begin testing of these modifications.
