Well I heard today from an old time internet hand now with US West that an
RBOC has finally woken up to what is at stake here.
US West announced the formation of Advanced Communications Services as a
new business unit with $300 million funding over the next five years to
focus on corporate LAN to LAN interconnects using frame relay and SMDS to
carry TCP/IP.
Anyone have any more info?
