The phantom holdings problem that we identified back in March
still has not been resolved. We don't seem to be getting
concentrated attention from Geac on solving this problem although it
ranks as a 'drop dead' issue for bringing up the catalog. I'm
concerned that our testers' time is being gobbled up responding to
guesses by Geac as to what is causing the problem. It was
particularly frustrating last Friday when Michel was making the same
second guesses that proved to be wrong back in March. How can we get
beyond this impasse? Is there some way to make more effective use of
people's time and have Geac be more systematic in their approach to
resolving the phantom holdings problem?
