Darcy,
Is tech services forum on for Tuesday morning? How firm is the agenda?
I'm asking because I'd like to hijack the meeting for an Advance
discussion. One of the BIG issues we have to begin discussing about the new
system is how to handle serial and journal holdings. The choices and impact
are so broad that those of us currently in on the discussion (Ellen D.,
Walter P., Marilyn M., and a number of others) really feel a need to start
getting broader input early. This is a very complex issue and could easily
fill a whole hour (or more) of a meeting.
Do you think something like this can fit on the agenda? If it will, please
let me know ASAP since we've got a LOT of preparation to do to be ready to
present the issues to TSF.
