Michel, for the most part the changes to the B.Index all took fine.
The series volume numbering is working properly. There are a few
things that don't work, though, as well as a few slight corrections to
be made in the B.Index, but mostly I think we're in pretty good shape.
1. 027, 088, 074: These work now. I did them using "doc =" since
we don't yet have separate search labels for each of them. Is that
something we do via menu design?
2. Re: spec item 4. Indexing 400 /t separately as title, with dcode =
P, is fine. That's what we wanted.
Here are the remaining problems:
1. 400, 410, 411 /t not searchable as title browse ("t=").
In keeping with the parallel between 400 and 800, 410 and 810, 411
and 811: 800, 810, and 811 /t ARE searchable as title browse.
The only differences I see between 400-411 and 800-811 are:
-- for 800-811 /t, they have A.FLG = 1, while 400-411 /t don't
have an A.FLG value
--for 800-811 /t, the STOP ART. is P, while for 400-411 /t,
the STOP ART. is T.
Do either of these differences determine that 400-411 /t's don't show
up in a title browse (T =)? If not, why aren't they? (Obviously, we
want them to, just like the 800-811 /t's do.)
2. 260 not added yet.
Add 260 subfields b, f ONLY
Valid = b,f Prep = NOTE Files = WORDS
dcode - N
3. 500 valid subfields should be all of them, not just b and f.
Delete Valid = b,f (Valid should be BLANK)
4. 505 valid subfields should be all of them, not just /a.
(This will accomodate new format integration subfields g,r,t)
Delete Valid = a (Valid should be BLANK)
5. 513 valid subfields should be all of them, not just /a.
Delete Valid = a (Valid should be BLANK)
6. 520 valid subfields should be all of them, not just /a.
Delete Valid = a (Valid should be BLANK)
7. 533 valid subfields should be all of them, not just /a.
Delete Valid = a (Valid should be BLANK)
8. 534 valid subfields should be all of them, not just /a.
Delete Valid = a (Valid should be BLANK)
9. 536 valid subfields should be all of them, not just /a.

P.S. Michel, your point about having separate fields in separate test
records is well taken. The reason I crammed a lot of things to test
into one record was simply time constraints. Hope that hasn't messed

change, so I can test them, and get back to me about the 400-411 title
browse.
