cross references and keyword searches

At a recent ad-cat meeting (possibly the famed peyote meeting) there
was a question as to whether cross references turn up when you do a
keyword search in Advance. Now that I've input some cross references
I can report: they do.
However, since the search results of a keyword search do not show up
in alphabetical order, it can look a little bizarre. For a mild taste
of this, do two searches:
first, do: a=congressional library
second, do: aw=congressional library
Does anyone else find the results of the second search a bit
distasteful? I know one can ask to "sort" the results, but who will
unless they know why, and who will know why?
