Grant brought his first version of a "problem report" for Advance to the
BOG meeting on 2/22. Sheelah and I both took a few samples to make more
copies for our areas. I'll distribute some to the 14E-210 folks, Mark, and
Jennifer this afternoon, and Sheelah will take care of the Fund Accounting
folks.
These are to be sent to Grant in his role as Advance filter. He'll
organize them, log them, and pass along the appropriate ones to Geac.
There are categories of information that Grant has included that will make
sorting these easier, so it looks a bit different than the ones we used for
Geac Acq or Horizon. It is Grant's intention to have an online list of
what's been submitted, and Eric mentioned the possibility of having an
online list of the most commonly reported problems and fixes (sort of like
an Athena OLC stock answers equivalent).
Please use the form for everything, screen prints can be attached, and the
back can be used, if there isn't room on the front to explain the problem.
If you're wondering how to log a suggestion, rather than a problem, use the
form, in case it's something that can be tinkered with locally. If any
further revisions are made, I'll make sure everyone gets the newest version
