Joe,
I wouldn't go rushing out to buy the PSI/Cabelvision
offering yet.
There is very little information available at this time
about the exact nature of the service: like whether
it's a symmetric service, ie speed is 10Mb/s in BOTH
DIRECTIONS or just 10Mb/s to the customer with a slow
reverse channel (perhaps V.32bis or so).
I think it's very difficult to say at this time what, if
any, effect this will have on Resnet as we know it today.
