Do you remeber the announcement at last year's symposium closing
reception? Logan made an announcement about a scholarship created to honor
two of ResNet's founding members.

The Senti-Merriman ResNet Symposium Undergraduate Student Scholarship is here.

Here's an excerpt from the description:

"To honor their contribution, the ResNet Symposium Steering Committee will
sponsor the attendance of up to two undergraduate students at the Symposium
each year. The Committee will cover conference registration costs (up to
$500). Nominating schools will be responsible for travel , lodging and
incidental expenses. Should their student be selected, nominating schools
will also be responsible for the student's conduct and participation at the
Symposium."

More info is available at the ResNet Symposium site
(http://www.resnetsymposium.org)

Nomination forms will be available online by 1/23/02

Due date for nominations is February 22, 2002
(not 2/20 as posted on the site right now).

Let me know if you have any questions about the scholarship.

Deborah
