The University of California, Santa Barbara restricts ResNet bandwidth
to 20Mb/s using a PacketShaper. We have 3370 mac addresses registered
for this year.
A huge percentage of our bandwidth is used by p2p apps. We are still
tweaking our PacketShaper to get that under better control.
We do not currently use any caching, but we are interested in looking
into that.
As for the survey, I'd sure like to see the MRTG graph from Georgia
Institute of Technology where they have a 755Mb/s connection!
