I experienced this on my home wifi network when I upgraded my iPhone 4S an
my iPad 2. What fixed it was updating the firmware on my wireless routers
(an AirPort Extreme & an Airport Express). Since then I've had no problems.

Has anyone received reports of WIFI issues with newly updated iOS 6
devices? We received our first complaint this AM from the user community,
although our developers reported this issue last week. It seems that only
iPhone 4S and iPad 3 running iOS 6 are affected. The issue reported (and
confirmed) is that the affected devices will not connect to certain WIFI
networks (in our case, our managed "FIT" APs - 802.11n HP/3COM/H3C) - no
associate with AP, no DHCP. Testing does show that the same devices will
connect to older "FAT" APs. For clarification, these same devices worked
before the update to iOS 6.
Thanks in advance,
Jake
