In these situations we always remove any profiles associated with the
account from the mobile devices. In our case that's wireless profiles
and the accounts for mail, etc. Even if they appear to be setup
correctly we don't take the chance that there's an odd password stored
someplace that's locking the device. From your description is sounds
like if she stays away from campus her account doesn't get locked out.
That indicates to me that one of her devices is trying to connect to
wireless with a bad password, so I would remove all of those profiles
just to be safe.
