Yes, we are offering remote assistance from Windows 7 machines. There
is a GPO in place that enables the ability for the machine to receive
the offer and adds our support group to the "Offer Remote Assistance"
group on the local machine. The only difficulties we've had come from
technicians forgetting to place computers in the proper OU to get the
settings (we have separate OUs for departments).

I'm pretty sure that our domain controllers are running 2008R2.
