[NOTE: I apparently jumped the gun a bit in announcing our Software Librarian
Package and making it available via anonymous ftp.  It is still available
for free on a 30-day trial basis, but you will need to send a message to
softlib@rescomp.stanford.edu to get it.  If anyone did get it via anonymous
ftp during the short time that it was available in that manner, I would
appreciate a message letting me know that fact.  Sorry for the confusion.

STANFORD SOFTWARE LIBRARIAN PACKAGE

Stanford Residential Computing is pleased to announce the release of
the "Stanford Software Librarian Package". This Macintosh software copyright
protection program is being offered as a fully functional, low-cost 
alternative to similar commercial products on the market. Its purpose 
is to prevent users from copying software from cluster machines to run 
on their own computers, and to prevent more than the licensed number of
copies of a program from running.

The fully-functional product is now available on a free 30-day trial period!
A detailed description of the product and how to obtain a trial copy is 
is available from the following sources:
