One of the presentations I'm planning is how we used WebHelpDesk as a lever to force our department down an ITIL path... and how well that has or hasn't worked so far.

Hi Cheryl/Jim,

We're starting an implementation at MIT and have had some success with introducing the principles through a few grass-roots efforts that are don't require a huge investment or immediate workflow/culture change. I'd be happy to share some of those experiences.

We're far from having a full ITIL implementation, but are headed there. The work so far has gone a long way to help some of our department understand the concepts and potential benefits.

I'm gonna jump on this with Cheryl. ITIL is definitely something I'm interested in and something of interest to our department.

Hi Everyone:

There's lots of talk lately on our campus about ITIL and implementing some of the ITIL principles. Who out there is using ITIL in their operations? Are there a group of you who would consider submitting a panel proposal for the Student Technology Conference? I'd be happy to organize the session if I can get enough volunteers to sit on the panel.

Can you help?
