Dear ResNet Community -
It is the time of year when we solicit nominations for the ResNet Board of =
Directors. This year there are three open positions: Vice-President (3-yea=
r term, presidential track; currently Margaret Landsparger), Director of Co=
nference Management (2-year term; currently Adam Bray), and Director of Mem=
ber & Volunteer Relations (2-year term; currently Jim Rizzo). More informa=
tion about each position is available at <http://goo.gl/lyJ0s>.
I would encourage anyone who is interested in taking a leadership role for =
the organization to consider self-nominating, as well as encourage anyone w=
ho knows of another individual who would do a great job to consider sending=
along their names in nomination.
If you would like more information, or you aren't sure if you are able to c=
ommit to this type of responsibility, or you would like to submit a nominat=
ion, please contact us at <nominations@resnetinc.org>.
I can tell you from experience that serving on the ResNet Board of Director=
s was a tremendous opportunity for me - it allowed me to gain leadership ex=
perience while also giving back to this community that has provided me with=
so much insight and support :)
