Asante Support Experience
Here at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, we have
had nothing but great results from Asante products. As a matter of fact, I
always reccommend Asante NIC's for Macs & PC's, where else can you get a
product guaranteed for 5 years at truly great (Higher Ed) prices.
The support experiences I have had have all been good, although there have been
only a few due to the fact their products have been pretty flawless.
In regards to their hub products, Once again nothing but great experiences. I
have Asante's 1012 hubs & 2072 hubs currently on our network, and I'm going to
be buying their NetStacker hubs next. The intelligent hub is the way to go,
and Asante has provided a very flexible chassis w/ many options for the present
& the future. Asante's AsanteView Network Management S'ware provides all the
information you could possibly need. I think they are definately worth looking
into as a distribution hub,and once again at a (Higher Ed) price/port that very
few, if any, can beat.
