I received many questions about the breakdown of the costs, so I spoke to
the Campus Activities Complex (CAC) today. Here's some more information:
$3500 - computer and software
$1700 - 50" LCD Panel
$8150 - enclosure
$1300 - configuration, testing, system design/engineering, freight
$2000 - electrical work and coring
$16650 - TOTAL
41 UAS 5.2 has been updated to reflect the new estimate. MIT Facilities and
CAC will be co-sponsoring the project, and they will pay the balance.
