Hello everyone,
If you've been checking the Exec Updates, often I had a line saying I was
talking to communications officers in DUE, ODGE, and DSL about how to bette=
r
communicate some administrative information to the UA, other governing
bodies, and the students as a whole - as one of my "information flow"
projects. Alas, here is one of our solutions in providing updates to the
UA.
"The communications officers for the Dean for Undergraduate Education (DUE)=
,
the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education (ODGE), and the Division of
Student Life (DSL) have compiled a summary of current events and
developments in their respective divisions. [The] goal is to create a
=93snapshot=94 of what is going on or coming up in academic and campus life=
for
both undergraduates and graduates. We=92ll send these out several times a y=
ear
to representatives of the various student organizations so that you can be
aware and pass relevant information on to your constituencies." (Gearty,
