Hey everyone,

A quick update on Committee on Finboard Policy progress:

- tonight I'll give an oral report on the general process and
recommendations of the committee. I may have an informal sheet written up
for tonight, but the formal summary/report will be ready for the next
meeting

- I have a draft copy of the proposed new Finboard Bylaws at:
http://mit.edu/remeyer/Public/UA/Senate/42uas9/bylaws-pub.pdf
A lot of the recommended changes are incorporated in these bylaws.

- I would like Senate to discuss whether funding policies and philosophies
should be included in the bylaws or in a separate document (and if
separate how they can be amended). I have outlines of the policy and
philosophy recommendations at:
http://mit.edu/remeyer/Public/UA/Senate/42uas9/polphil.pdf

- I'm not currently planning on proposing any legislation to amend other
governing docs (UA Constitution, Exec/Senate Bylaws) as part of this
process although some things may come up later.

- Any other legislation will be proposed next week.

I'll be around the UA Office most of the time until Senate, so feel free
to stop by to talk about this.

-Rachel
