I have updated the Visualization Toolkit on Athena for Linux and Sun
to release 4.0rc but haven't make it the default yet. This is a 3d
graphics imaging Toolkit/API based on OpenGL/Mesa which comes with
many examples.
To access and use it, please read the various READMEs at the top of the
vtkit_v4.0rc locker:
/mit/vtkit_v4.0rc/README.to-run
/mit/vtkit_v4.0rc/README.dynamic_linking
/mit/vtkit_v4.0rc/README.config
Documentation for the many API functions is available starting from
http://web.mit.edu/vtkit_v4.0rc/www/index.html.
