I have installed xcircuit (version 2.5.3) for Sun, SGI and Linux in a
new xcircuit locker. xcircuit is a drawing program specialized for the
production of publication-quality circuit diagrams. To run it:
add xcircuit
xcircuit &
There is a man page in the locker. A tutorial and online reference
materials are at the author Web site http://xcircuit.ece.jhu.edu/
Although xcircuit has been (and still is) available in the outland
locker, it is being installed separately at the request of course
instructors who ask that it be supported "more officially".
There is supposed to be a Python interface allowing additional
functionality, but this doesn't seem to be enabled by the
configuration script in the current release.
