I have installed Wordnet on Athena. To run on a DECstation:
add wordnet; then either xwn (X interface) or wn (TTY interface) or xescort
(Semantic Concordance).
The same applies for an RS/6000 except that the Semantic Concordance is not
yet available.
Wordnet is a rather unique product; it is most like a thesaurus but also
has features of a dictionary and even an encyclopedia. Best thing to do
is just to try it out and see for yourself.
Nothing is available yet for Sun/Solaris 2.x. There is a file
README.first at the top level of the locker that will help get you
started. PC/Windows and Mac versions can be fpt'd from Princeton; one
of the READMEs has the machine address.
