The version of Mosaic (previously called xmosaic; that old name will
remain for an arbitrary amount of time to ease the migration) in the
sipb locker has just been upgraded to 2.1, the most recent release
from NCSA. This new version supports many more features than the
older version (1.2); in particular, forms support is now available,
and many bugfixes are in place.
Very soon a document ``The Wanderer's Guide to the World Wide Web''
by Richard Barbalace (thanks, Richard!!) will be made avaialble by
the SIPB that will help users who are just starting to learn about the
Web.
Supported platofrms at this time are: sun4, decmips, rsaix, linux, and
vax. The rt version is now longer available.
Comments, complaints, bug reports, and everything else (including your
personal opinion on what a great TV show `Taxi' was) can be sent to
bug-sipb@mit.edu
Thank you
